PriestmanGoode is delighted to unveil its latest aircraft interior and lounge designs for United Airlines. Over the last three years, we have worked closely with United as their strategic partners to develop a comprehensive global re-brand that is seeing a complete overhaul of the passenger experience, from lounge to landing.
At the heart of the new international fleet is the United Polaris premium lounge and cabin, an exclusive offer tailored to United business passengers; a serene environment that will leave them feeling refreshed and rested.
Our designs range from the lounge to all elements of the onboard experience, including seating, bespoke furniture elements like a bar area, branded cabin elements and a host of details including new tableware, glassware and amenity kits, among others.
A bespoke United Polaris seat in the exclusive lounge ties in with the onboard experience.
Designed around the way passengers really use lounges, it provides all required amenities in a more relaxed setting, including privacy, coat and bag storage, pull out table with integrated tablet holder and charging points.
The new United Polaris lounge is exclusively available to passengers flying the new Polaris premium service on International flights.
The lounge design follows a zoning concept, radiating from the most active zones in the entrance area to the buffet and bar, following by more restful zones further into the lounge.
PriestmanGoode designed the bar with its back-lit surface. The signature United Polaris ‘starry sky’ can be seen above the bar area.
The new United branded panels in the entrance area feature United’s signature hemisphere pattern.
A new on-brand entrance area greets passengers as they board the plane.
The United Polaris seat gives passengers more lighting control through ambient light and an additional signature reading light. Controls can be operate from any position, for ease of use.
